At the Cabinet meeting today (Sunday), 3.9.95:

1. The Foreign Minister briefed the Cabinet on his visit to Kazakhstan, and on the international economic conference in Italy which he attended.

2. The Cabinet discussed the selection of the central theme for 1996

(starting on Independence Day). The matter will be settled at the next Cabinet meeting.

3. The Cabinet approved the proposal of the Construction and Housing Minister, which would extend Project Renewal to moshavim. The Cabinet will decide, on an individual basis, which communities will receive this status.

4. The Cabinet approved an agreement with Ukraine on air transport.

5. The Cabinet approved the composition of the Israeli delegation to the United Nations’s 50th anniversary General Assembly.
