Foreign Ministry Director General to Moscow for Talks

Foreign Ministry Director-General Eytan Bentsur will, tomorrow, Tuesday, 9.6.98, leave for a two day visit to Moscow where he will lead a delegation for political talks with the Russian Foreign Ministry. He will be hosted by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Victor Possulvayuk who has responsibility for the Middle East portfolio.

This dialogue is a result of an agreement between former Foreign Minister David Levy and Russian Foreign Minister Promikov during his last visit to Israel. Their talks will focus on the Middle East peace process and strategic political challenges in the regional arena such as the most recent developments which have taken place.
