Ugandan FM Kategaya to Visit Israel

Ugandan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Eriya T. Kategaya will visit Israel next week, August 2-5, 1998, as the guest of Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Accompanying Foreign Minister Kategaya will be a delegation of Ugandan business leaders and Ministry of Agriculture officials who will meet with their Israeli counterparts in order to locate sources for joint investment and development projects.

During his visit, Foreign Minister Kategaya will meet with President Ezer Weizman, Prime Minister Netanyahu, Agriculture Minister Rafael Eitan, Labor MK Shimon Peres and business leaders. He will also visit Yad Vashem and various holy sites.

Foreign Minister Kategaya will hold a press conference on Wednesday, 5.8.98, at 14:45, at the King David Hotel, before leaving the country.
