Defense Minister Yitzhak Mordechai, today (Monday), 4.1.99, condemns this morning’s shooting attack in Hebron, in which two Israeli women were wounded.

At the same time, he has ordered the IDF and the security forces to make a concentrated intelligence effort to locate the perpetrators.

Defense Minister Mordechai ordered the IDF to continue efforts to persuade Jewish residents in the Hebron area to use basic protective equipment necessary for daily life and traffic on the roads, as is done in other areas in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, while the IDF and security forces continue their great efforts to foil terrorist attacks.
