Israel-Jordan Steering Committee Meets

Jerusalem, January 25, 2000

The Joint Israel-Jordan Steering committee met yesterday (Monday) 24.1.2000, at the Prime Minister’s Office. The Israeli delegation was comprised by Prime Minister’s Office Chief of Staff Danny Yatom, Political Advisor Zvi Stauber, Prime Minister’s Office Director-General Yossi Kucik and Israel’s Ambassador to Jordan Oded Eran. The Jordanian delegation was comprised of Foreign Minister Abdel Elah M. Khatib, General Batihi and Jordan’s Ambassador to Israel Omar Rifai.

The meeting discussed ways to make progress on joint projects, updated each other and exchanged ideas regarding the peace process.
