PM Barak Appoints Minister Shlomo Ben-Ami Foreign Minister

Prime Minister Ehud Barak this morning (Thursday), November 2, 2000, informed the Cabinet, as required by the Basic Law: The Government, that upon the completion of his term as Acting Foreign Minister, Shlomo Ben-Ami is hereby appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs; this is in addition to his serving as Minister of Public Security. Notification to this effect will be given to the Knesset.
