PM Barak Praises Apprehension of 15 Tanzim Members

(Communicated by the Defense Minister’s Media Adviser)

Prime Minister and Defense Minister Ehud Barak today (Wednesday), November 15, 2000, praised the capture of 15 Tanzim members who are suspected of taking part in attacks, and commended the ISA, IDF and Border Police for their part in apprehending the suspects.

Prime Minister Barak said that the security forces will continue such efforts in keeping with the policy of not allowing those perpetrate attacks and have Jewish blood on their hands to get away with it. Just as the IDF has reached several of those who perpetrated the lynch in Ramallah, the commander and deputy commander of the force that shot at Gilo, and the 15 Tanzim members who are suspected of involvement in attacks against Israelis, so too will the long arm of the security forces reach all those who attack Israeli citizens and soldiers.
