|FM Peres to Visit EU Institutions|

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Shimon Peres will depart tomorrow (June 11) for a working visit to EU institutions. In the course of his two-day visit, Foreign Minister Peres will meet with fifteen European Foreign Ministers, within the framework of a meeting in Luxembourg, and he will discuss the regional situation with them. In addition, he will hold separate meetings with the Belgian Foreign Minister, Louis Michel, and Dutch Foreign Minister Jozias Van-Aartsen.
Foreign Minister Peres will hold bilateral meetings on Tuesday June 12 with the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Jean Claude Juncker, and the Foreign Minister, Lydie Polfer. Following these meetings, the Foreign Minister will visit the European Parliament in Strasbourg, and will meet with the President of the Parliament, Nicole Fontaine, with the heads of the parliamentary parties and with the Israel-European Parliament Friendship Association. In addition, Mr. Peres will meet with the members of the European Parliament delegation responsible for relations with Israel.
