Foreign leaders express condolences at murder of Ze’evy

British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw, German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer, and EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javiar Solana expressed shock at the murder of Rechavam Ze’evy and extended their condolences to the family and to the people of Israel.

Foreign Minister Peres told them that Arafat must gain control over the terrorist organizations and carry out real arrests and preventative measures. If Arafat fails to do so, the result could be catastrophic for all.
