Foreign Minister Peres to Visit Europe

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Shimon Peres departs today (April 1) for a four day working visit to Europe (April 1-4). Among the states he plans to visit are Sweden (currently President-in-Office of the European Union), Norway, France and Greece.

During the visit, Foreign Minister Peres will meet with prime ministers and foreign ministers. He will also meet with the presidents of France and Greece.

In his meetings, the Foreign Minister will discuss Palestinian violence and the increase in terrorist attacks, as well as ways to end the violence and terrorism and bring the parties back to the negotiating table.
