|Visit of Spanish FM to Israel|

The Foreign Minister of Spain, Josep Pique, will arrive in Israel on Tuesday April 24 for a working visit. The guest will meet with the President of Israel, the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister. He will also visit Yad Vashem.
In the course of the visit, they will discuss the political and economic ties between the two countries, as well as the role that Spain plays as a member of the European Union.
Spain and Israel established diplomatic relations fifteen years ago. Their balance of trade stands at $1.1 billion. Israel is Spain’s largest trade partner in the Middle East.
