Senior Minister of Singapore, Mr. Goh Chok Tong, heads a delegation that arrived in Israel for a three-day visit.

The Senior Minister of Singapore, Mr. Goh Chok Tong, arrived today in Israel for a three-day visit.

Mr. Goh will meet with the President, Mr. Moshe Katsav, and the Prime Minister, Mr. Ariel Sharon. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade Industry and Labor, Mr. Ehud Olmert will host for him a breakfast. Mr. Goh will meet also Minister of Defense, Shaul Mofaz, and Minister of Finance, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, with whom he will sign an Agreement on Avoidance of Double Taxation between Israel and Singapore.

The Senior Minister will visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Authority, as well as the Israel Museum and historical sites.

Mr. Goh arrives with a delegation that includes the Senior Minister of State for Information, Communication and the Arts and Health, Dr. Balaji Sadasivan, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Education and Manpower, Mr. Hawazi Daipi, and members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
