FM Livni met with Austrian Chancellor Gusenbauer in Vienna today, and briefed him on the situation in southern Israel and the Middle East,

Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni, currently participating in the international conference "Women Leaders – Networking for Peace and Security in the Middle East" being held in Vienna, Austria, met today (Thursday, 31 May) with Austrian Chancellor Mr. Alfred Gusenbauer.
In the course of their meeting, FM Livni briefed the Chancellor on the situation in the south of Israel. FM Livni emphasized that from Israel’s point of view, the situation in Sderot and the surrounding areas is intolerable.
FM Livni also brought Chancellor Gusenbauer up to date with regard of the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701 in Lebanon.
