The Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs left on a visit to Turkey at the invitation of the Director General of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Aaron Abramovich, left on Tuesday on a visit to Turkey at the invitation of recently appointed Director General of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ertugrul Apakan. Abramovich will be the first official guest to meet with Apakan since his appointment.

The Directors General will discuss regional issues of concern to both countries and such bilateral issues as the strengthening of economic and commercial ties, cooperation in energy and infrastructure, tourism and culture.

During the visit, Mr. Abromovich will also meet with the head of the Turkish National Security Agency, the heads of the prestigious ASAM Research Institute and with members of the press.
