French FM Bernard Kouchner will visit Israel and the Palestinian Authority, and hold discussions regarding Israeli-French relations and regional political issues.

Bernard Kouchner, Foreign Minister of France, will arrive for a two-day official visit of Israel and the Palestinian Authority on Saturday, 17 November. FM Kouchner’s previous visit to Israel was in September 2007.

FM Kouchner will meet with Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Ehud Barak.

During his visit to the Palestinian Authority, FM Kouchner will meet with PA President Mahmoud Abbas and with Prime Minister Salam Fayed.

Discussions in Israel will include Israeli-French relations and regional political issues.
