The plaza of the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires, which was destroyed in the bomb blast in 1992, was officially declared a historic municipal site

A ceremony declaring the plaza of the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires a municipal historic site was held on Tuesday (20 November) at the site of the Israeli embassy that was destroyed in the bomb blast on 17 March 1992.
The declaration of the plaza as a historical sight was proceeded by an extensive authorization process led by Member of Parliament Christina Alvarez Rodriguez, in cooperation with families of those killed in the blast, the embassy, the Jewish community and with the support of the Mayor of Buenos Aires, Jorge Telerman.
The attendants of the ceremony were addressed by Mayor Telerman, representatives of the families, Member of Parliament Rodriguez and Israeli ambassador to Argentine, Rafi Eldad.
