The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is hosting a conference on anti-terrorist activities and airport security for senior North American airport managers.

(Communicated by the Foreign Ministry Spokesman)

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its North American diplomatic missions make every effort to promote relations with American authorities on a wide range of issues. Within this framework, and as a result of the successful Homeland Security conference held in March 2006, the Ministry is hosting a delegation of senior North American airport managers with the aim of exposing them to Israel’s perspective on anti-terror activities in general and airport security in particular.

The delegation includes representatives of major airports, among them Washington D.C., San Diego, Jacksonville, Oakland, Houston and Las Vegas.

The conference will take place between 6-10 May and is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israeli diplomatic missions in the Unites States and with the cooperation of Airports Council International-North America.
