Vice Prime Minister and Minster of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni is due to leave this evening (Thursday, 1 May 2008) on a three-day official visit to the United Kingdom.
FM Livni will address the AHLC donors meeting to be held in London. During her visit to London, FM Livni is scheduled to meet with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs David Miliband, and Shadow Foreign Secretary William Hague. She will also meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas, Jordanian Foreign Minister Salaheddin Al-Bashir, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit and with the heads of the Jewish communities of Great Britain.
