President Peres and Deputy FM Whbee received Letters of Credence from five new ambassadors to Israel

President Shimon Peres and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Majalli Whbee received today (Tuesday, September 2 2008) the Letters of Credence of five new ambassadors to Israel.

The ambassadors of Denmark, Spain, Guatemala, Cyprus and Hungary will today begin their official duties in Israel.

President Peres and Deputy FM Whbee met the ambassadors and wished them luck in their new position in a region abundant with political challenges.

Deputy FM Whbee informed the Hungarian ambassador of his experiences during his visit to Budapest last March, and advised the ambassador of Guatemala on the results of the bilateral dialogue between Israel and Guatemala over which he recently presided.
