Overnight, in a joint IDF-ISA operation, the Israel Air Force struck two terror targets in the northern Gaza Strip. The strike was in response to the rocket that was fired from the Gaza Strip and landed in Eshkol Regional Council.

More than 160 rockets and mortar bombs have been fired at Israeli territory since the beginning of 2010, and over 440 rockets have been fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel since the end of the Gaza Operation.

The IDF remains committed to protecting the citizens of Israel and will continue to act against terror. The IDF holds Hamas solely responsible for any terrorist activity emanating from the Gaza Strip.
