 FM Liberman departs on visit to Greece

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Liberman left on Wednesday (12 January 2011) for a visit to Greece.

In Athens, FM Liberman will meet with Greek President Karolos Papoulias, Prime Minister George Papandreou, Foreign Minister Dimitrios Droutsas, Minister for National Defense Evangelos Venizelos, and State Minister Haris Pamboukis. He will also meet with Speaker of the Greek Parliament Philippos Petsalnikos and Dinos Vrettos, chairman of the parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee, as well as with His Beatitude, Hieronymus II, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, with the leaders of the local Jewish community and others.

FM Liberman will return to Israel on Sunday, 16 January 2011.
