Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Liberman today (Tuesday, 22 March 2011) at the MFA in Jerusalem signed the book of condolences  opened by the Japanese embassy in Israel in light of the disaster that struck the country.

FM Liberman wrote: "True friendship is measured in times of need. Now, while you in Japan are experiencing one of the greatest natural disasters in history, the people of Israel stand by you, feel your pain and are willing to assist however possible until the earth beneath your feet is stable once more."
