Liberman will meet with Moldovan officials, lay wreaths in memory of Jewish victims of progroms and the Holocaust, and visit Jewish schools.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Liberman will leave on Thursday, September 01, 2011, for Moldova. During the visit, he will meet with Moldovan PM Vladimir Filat; Deputy PM and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca; Acting President and Speaker of the Parliament Marian Lupu; Opposition leader and past president, Vladimir Voronin, and other officials.
FM Liberman will visit Kishinev and lay wreaths at the Kishinev Holocaust Memorial and the memorial to victims of the pogroms. He will also visit Jewish schools in Kishinev and meet with Israel’s delegation to the NATO exercise.
