Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday evening Wednesday, 8 February 2012, spoke with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and expressed the Israeli people’s regret over the loss of life in the floods and severe weather which have struck southern Bulgaria.

Prime Minister Netanyahu offered to send search and rescue assistance, medical and engineering aid and whatever other help that may be required. "Israeli citizens are at your side in this difficult hour," the Prime Minister said.
