Romanian Foreign Minister Andrei Marga will conduct an official visit in Israel from May 27-30 as the guest of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Liberman. The visit is part of the two countries’ policy of deepening cooperation between them. Minister Marga will meet with Israel President Shimon Peres and other senior government officials.
Talks at the Foreign Ministry will focus on the development of economic opportunities, as well as with issues of common bilateral interest. The ministers will also discuss issues on the regional and international agendas.
The Romanian Foreign Minister will address an open event at the Harry S. Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace at the Hebrew University campus on Mt. Scopus.
