Knesset Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein hosted the members of the soft rock band Air Supply in his office on Sunday. Guitarist Graham Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock, who are in Israel as part of their world tour, thanked Edelstein for the visit and tour of the parliament building.

”The things you see and feel here in Israel are powerful and beautiful,” the duo said during the meeting with Edelstein. ”During each visit we fall in love with Israel all over again. We were surprised to learn that the Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth, but unfortunately, because of the flooding, we were unable to dip in it. We will definitely return to Israel and [swim in the Dead Sea].”

Knesset Speaker Edelstein told the duo ”I am convinced that in the 39 years of your activity together, you each had offers to quit and join another band. You serve as proof that unity and stability eventually pay off.”
