Prof. Shabtai Rosen Scholarships for participation in the 2016 summer course on Public International Law at the Hague Academy of International Law.
The Office of the Legal Adviser of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide recommendation letters on behalf of the Israeli Embassy in the Netherlands for lawyers or law students that are interested in receiving Prof. Shabtai Rosen Scholarships for participation in the 2016 summer course on Public International Law at the Hague Academy of International Law.

Decisions regarding the scholarship grants in memory of the late Prof. Shabtai Rosen, will be made by the Hague Academy. However, recommendation letters from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will have great influence on the decision.
Candidates for recommendation letters must meet all conditions of the Hague Academy, and the following qualifications as well:
• Possession of a non-expired Israeli passport;
• Successful completion of a course in public international law before the start of the summer course;
• Fluent English.
The final date for requests to receive a recommendation letter is December 3, 2015.

The application should include:
• A short motivation letter in English;
• A resume in English;
• One academic recommendation letter.
The selected candidates will be invited to a personal interview at the Office of the Legal Adviser at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It should be clarified that the provision of recommendation letters is at the discretion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and nothing in this ad obligates the provision of recommendation letters or scholarships. Likewise, the application procedures for the receipt of recommendation letters, the registration for the summer course and the necessary arrangements with the Hague Academy are the sole responsibility of the candidate.
