MKs Tzachi Hanegbi (Likud), Avi Dichter (Likud), Ofer Shelah (Yesh Atid) and Omer Barlev (Zionist Camp) of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee will travel to the United States this week for a series of meetings with their counterparts in Congress, including members of the Foreign Affairs and Intelligence committees.

During the visit, the MKs will also hold work meetings with senior officials in the US State Department and the National Security Council, as well as with officials from American intelligence agencies. The meetings with American intelligence officials will focus on the F-35 fighter jet and other joint air defense projects.

While in the US, the Knesset delegation will visit a number of think tanks, including the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and the Brookings Institution.
