CABINET COMMUNIQUE

AT THE WEEKLY CABINET MEETING TODAY (SUNDAY), 2.1.94:

1. WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE MINISTERIAL COMMITTEE ON NATIONAL SECURITY, THE PRIME MINISTER, THE POLICE MINISTER, THE DEPUTY CHIEF OF STAFF, THE POLICE INSPECTOR-GENERAL AND THE COORDINATOR OF ACTIVITIES IN JUDEA, SAMARIA, AND GAZA BRIEFED THE CABINET ON ON-GOING MATTERS.

2. THE PRIME MINISTER AND THE FOREIGN MINISTER REPORTED ON THE NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE PALESTINIANS.

3. THE CABINET APPROVED AN EXCHANGE OF LETTERS WITH THE BULGARIAN GOVERNMENT ON CANCELLING VISAS FOR THOSE HOLDING DIPLOMATIC AND SERVICE PASSPORTS.

4. THE CABINET, ACTING ACCORDING TO THE INDUSTRY AND TRADE MINISTER’S PROPOSAL, APPROVED THE APPOINTMENT OF YOSEF SNIR TO THE POST OF DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF THE INDUSTRY AND TRADE MINISTRY, EFFECTIVE 13.1.94.
