FM Levy Expresses Israel’s Sorrow over Mecca Tragedy

Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister David Levy expressed today the sorrow of the Government and people of Israel following the tragic fire in Mecca, in which hundreds of believers lost their lives while fulfilling a religious commandment of the highest importance and making their pilgrimage to this sacred Moslem site.

The Government and people of Israel send their condolences and wish a speedy and complete recovery to the injured.
