PM Barak Speaks with Jordanian King Abdullah

Prime Minister and Defense Minister Ehud Barak spoke yesterday (Tuesday), 26.10.99, with King Abdullah of Jordan, and offered his congratulations on the fifth anniversary of the peace treaty between Israel and Jordan.
"Today, we remember the legacy of King Hussein – born of his political courage, and that of the late Yitzhak Rabin. On this day, I am profoundly grateful," Prime Minister Barak said.
King Abdullah thanked Prime Minister Barak, whom he asked to convey his good wishes to all those who were party to concluding the agreement and to the Israeli people. The King expressed his hope that we will see the two peoples, and the entire region, enjoy the fruits of peace.
Prime Minister Barak again invited King Abdullah to make an official visit to Israel.
