Deputy FM Massalha Visits the Netherlands

Deputy Foreign Minister Nawaf Massalha has departed for a two day (6-8 March) working visit in the Netherlands, at the invitation of his Dutch counterpart, Dick Benschop.

During the visit, the Deputy Minister will meet with the Foreign Minister of the Netherlands, Jozias van Aartsen, as well as with members of Parliament and leaders of the Jewish community.

In his meetings, Deputy Foreign Minister Massalha will update his hosts on recent developments in the Middle East peace process and will work towards strengthening bilateral relations between Israel and Holland. The Deputy Minister will also raise the issue of Israel-European Union relations and their role in the peace process.

Mr. Massalha is scheduled to visit Anna Frank House and will present Ms. Henriette de Metz Wiechmann with the title of Righteous Among the Nations.
