Terror Attack in Jerusalem: Reactions

Louis Michel, the Foreign Minister of Belgium and the President-in-Office of the Euroepan Union, called Foreign Minister Peres and expressed his shock, and that of the EU, at the murder in Jerusalem. He sent his condolences to the families of the victims.

FM Peres said that if the Palestinian Authority ahd acted with the necessary determination in performing preventive arrests of Hamas terrorists, this horrendous terror attack would have been prevented.

Joshka Fischer, the Foreign Minister of Gemrany, expressed his sympathy fo the families of victims of the terrorist attack in Jerusalem.

FM Peres briefed his German colleague with details of the attack ad again emphasized the responsibility of the PA to carry out arrests in order to prevent such terror attacks.
