|FM Peres to Meet with EU Foreign Ministers in Luxembourg

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Shimon Peres is leaving today (20 October) for Luxembourg for the third meeting of the Israel-European Union Association Council. The meeting is slated to take place on 21 October, alongside the Council of European Foreign Ministers’ meeting.
At the meeting, Foreign Minister Peres will defend Israeli exports to Europe, and will also appear before the European Foreign Ministers to discuss the political situation.
The Association Council is meeting in the framework of the agreement between Israel and the EU and is the highest joint forum available for the discussion of political and economic issues common to both sides.
