Palestinian ambulance charged an IDF Force in the Jenin refugee camp

During IDF activity in the Jenin refugee camp, a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance charged at an IDF force. IDF soldiers opened with small arms fire at the ambulance, which exploded.

The IDF Spokesperson would like to emphasize that the IDF has no intention of harming the innocent. The Spokesperson noted that the initial investigation of the incident revealed that the soldiers had acted in self-defense after the ambulance charged towards them at high speed, coming from an area in which there had been exchanges of fire.
