Foreign Minister of Spain to Visit Israel

The Foreign Minister of Spain, Ana Palacio, will visit Israel on November 9, in order to participate in the Shmuel Toledano Prize Award Ceremony, in Jerusalem.
During her visit, Foreign Minister Palacio will meet with Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom. During their meeting, the Ministers will discuss the advancement and consolidation of bilateral ties between Israel and Spain, regional developments and ways to promote the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians.
Spain has been serving as a non-permanent member on the UN Security Council since January 2003.
