Foreign Minister of Macedonia to Visit Israel

The Foreign Minister of Macedonia, Dr. Ilinka Mitreva, will be in Israel for an official visit (10-13 January 2004) as a guest of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom.

During the visit, Dr. Mitreva will meet with the President, the Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister, the Minister of Science and Technology, and the Head of the Opposition. She will also visit Yad Vashem The Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Authority, and lay a wreath in the Hall of Names.

This will be the first visit of a foreign minister of Macedonia since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Macedonia and Israel in December 1995.
