US Secy of State Rice arrives in Israel for a two-day visit, as part of a regional tour.

Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of State of the United States of America, will arrive in Israel on Saturday, 18 June, for a two-day visit, as the guest of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Silvan Shalom.

Secretary Rice’s visit is part of a regional tour that will include Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

In addition to meeting with Minister Shalom, Secretary Rice will meet with the Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense, the Vice Premier, the Head of the GSS and the Chief of Staff. The visit will focus on the Disengagement Plan.
