 FM Liberman met with European foreign ministers in Athens

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Liberman, who is attending the 17th Ministerial Council meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Athens, on Tuesday, 1 December 2009, held working meetings with Greek Prime Minister and Foreign Minister George Papendreou and with the foreign ministers of Russia, Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Slovakia, Hungary, Uzbekistan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Netherlands and France.

FM Liberman spoke with his counterparts about the need to make clear and unequivocal decisions in order to prevent Iran from achieving nuclear weapon capabilities. Liberman also told his colleagues that it must be made clear to the Palestinians that the only way to reach an agreement is through direct negotiations, without taking unilateral measures.
