Pursuant to the Security Cabinet’s 25 November 2009 decision to suspend new permits and new construction in Judea and Samaria and subsequent directives from Defense Minister Ehud Barak, security forces and Civil Administration inspectors on Monday, 30 November 2009, toured 30 communities in Judea and Samaria, issued approximately 50 stop-work orders and impounded four pieces of mechanical engineering equipment that were used in ground preparation work, including the drilling of foundations. Among the communities in which enforcement activity was carried out were: Beit El, Naaleh, Efrat, Nokdim, Ofra, Yafit, Maaleh Adumim, Modi’in Ilit, Nili, Betar Ilit, Kedar, Shaarei Tikva, Alfei Menashe, Etz Ephraim, Elkana, Oranit, Ariel, Maaleh Michmash, Rimonim, Har Gilo, Kiryat Arba, Petzael, Maaleh Ephraim and others.
 
On Tuesday, 1 December 2009, security forces and Civil Administration inspectors toured over 40 communities in Judea and Samaria and issued 14 stop-work orders. Among the communities in which enforcement activity was carried out were: Vered Yericho, Mitzpe Shalem, Beit Horon, Halamish, Kochav Yaakov, Nahliel, Psagot, Givat Zeev, Carmel, Pnei Hever, Maaleh Shomron, Karnei Shomron, Peduel and others.
