The Foreign Minister of Colombia is due to arrive in Israel on an official visit.

Colombian Foreign Minister Jaime Bermudez Merizalde will arrive tomorrow morning (Wednesday, 28 April 2010) on an official three-day visit to Israel.
During the visit, the foreign minister will meet with President Shimon Peres, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Liberman, Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor Binyamin Ben Eliezer and Deputy Speaker of the Knesset Ruhama Avraham and other senior officials. FM Bermudez will discuss various issues with his hosts, including means of promoting bilateral relations, the peace process and regional issues. He will also tour the Old City of Jerusalem, visit Yad Vashem and lay a wreath on Mt. Herzl.
FM Bermudez will be accompanied by Luis Carlos Villegas Echeverri , president of the Columbian Industrial Association (ANDI) , who is visiting Israel in order to promote bilateral commercial relations.
During their visit in Israel, the two will meet with Israel business leaders, visit the Better Place Israel Company, and participate in an event at the Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center, which will be addressed by FM Bermudez.
