Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon met today (Sunday, January 24, 2010) with NASA Administrator Charles Bolden, who was guest of honor at the Ilan Ramon Space Research Conference which was held at the Fisher Institute with the participation of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

At the meeting, Deputy FM Ayalon expressed his hope that Israel will be able to contribute another astronaut, which will close the circle for Ilan Ramon. Deputy FM Ayalon emphasized that Israel has both the proven capability and willingness to cooperate on space research.
