Israel and Croatia are expected to sign agreements to increase economic cooperation.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia, Mr. Gordan Jandrokovic, will arrive this afternoon (16 May) for an official visit to Israel.
The visiting minister is scheduled to meet with President Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Liberman, Minister of Industry Benjamin Ben-Eliezer, Opposition Head Tzipi Livni, and MK Moshe Matalon (head of the Knesset Friendship Group with Croatia).
At the meeting of the two foreign ministers, FM Avigdor Liberman, who visited Zagreb in 2009, and FM Jandrokovic are expected to sign two agreements: an economic cooperation agreement and a customs agreement. The agreements aim to increase economic cooperation between Israel and Croatia, which is in the advanced stages of joining the European Union.
During his visit, FM Jandrokovic will lay a wreath on Herzl’s grave, visit Yad Vashem, and tour the Old City of Jerusalem, including the Western Wall, and Bethlehem.
