Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Liberman spoke with New Zealand Minister of Foreign Affairs Murray McCully. He expressed the condolences of Israel at the most recent earthquake disaster in Christchurch and offered Israeli aid.
FM Liberman thanked FM McCully for the efficiency with which the New Zealand authorities assisted the Israeli Embassy in Wellington in locating the Israelis in the earthquake area. FM McCully thanked Liberman for his offer of assistance, and said that there is still no final assessment of the number and condition of the earthquake victims.
