1,366 truckloads of goods were imported last week, including 534 truckloads of construction materials

Last week (January 27 to February 2), 1,366 trucks carrying 39,754 tons of goods entered the Gaza Strip from Israel through the Kerem Shalom land crossing. The delivered goods included 534 truckloads of construction materials.
Additionally, throughout the week Israel provided 125 megawatts of electricity a day to the Gaza Strip.
Also 34 truckloads of goods were exported from Gaza Strip for sale in foreign markets. The goods – including plane trees, flowers, fresh produce and spices – were first transferred to Israel via the Kerem Shalom crossing and then shipped abroad.
Since January 1, 153,381 tons of goods have been imported to Gaza via the Kerem Shalom crossing.
