Hundreds of Palestinians participated in disturbances in two areas of the West Bank today (8th of May) in the afternoon hours, and clashed with IDF soldiers and Border Policemen.
Hundreds Palestinians threw rocks at the Ayosh Junc. close to Beit El. An IDF officer was lightly wounded by a rock thrown at him, and was evacuated for treatment in a hospital.
This outburst continued more than two hours throughout which forces of the Palestinian Authority attempted to calm the rioters.

IDF forces also moved to contain the disturbances and rock throwing of other Palestinians around Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem.
The IDF’s drove back the rioters in full coordination with the Palestinian Police.
