The first success to the IDF (Zahal) and Defense Ministry’s multi-year reorganization plan for the Southern Command’s ordnance unit has been achieved.

The plan includes points from the McKinsey Report which dealt with equipment, construction and maintenance.

The Southern Command was the first to adopt the report, which was published in November 2009. Since changes began to be implemented in 2010, there have been improvements in many fields, such as the utilization of manpower.

Following the Southern Command’s success, the Northern Command is also adopting the plan.
