Five illegal riots in the Judea and Samaria region on Friday and Saturday

Violent riots occurred in five different locations on Friday afternoon (Apr. 9) and Saturday (Apr. 10)

On Friday afternoon (Apr. 9), three violent illegal riots took place in the Judea and Samaria region. In Dir Nizam, Bi’lin and Ni’lin rioters hurled rocks at security forces who responded using riot dispersal means.

During the riot in Dir Nizam, an IDF (Zahal) Border Policeman was lightly injured by rocks hurled at him by the rioters. He received initial medical treatment on the scene and then required evacuation to a hospital for further care.

Two additional riots occurred on Saturday (Apr. 10) near Iraq Burin and Safa; in both incidents, rioters hurled rocks at security forces who responded using riot dispersal means. In the incident near Safa, rioters also set fire to lands in the area. A closed military zone was ordered, and thirteen of the rioters were arrested and transferred to security forces for questioning.
