Gaza continues receiving basic goods and medical supplies

COGAT continues to coordinate the transfer of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, as well as the evacuation of medical patients for treatment in Israel and the Judea and Samaria region

The humanitarian aid efforts for the benefit of the Gaza Strip continue. Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, essential humanitarian food products, including wheat, flour, meat, chicken, fish, legumes and other agricultural produce, as well as animal feed, hygiene products and medical supplies were only some of the goods transferred into the Gaza Strip during the past week.

All together, a total of 533 truckloads, consisting of 13,919 tons of humanitarian aid, as well as 1,308,260 liters of diesel fuel and 832 tons of cooking gas, were transferred into the Gaza Strip from Israel via the various crossings in the past week. Likewise, eight truckloads of carnations were exported from the Gaza Strip to Europe.

In addition to the transfer of goods, 190 medical patients and accompanying individuals from the Gaza Strip crossed into Israel and the Judea and Samaria region for medical treatment. 190 staff members of international organizations crossed into the Gaza Strip.
