IAF targets terrorist squad that fired a rocket at the Erez Crossing

Over 15 rockets were fired into Israel from Gaza on Thursday (August 25)

A squad of terrorists that fired a mortar shell hitting the Erez Crossing on Thursday (August 25) was targeted shortly afterwards by an IAF aircraft, in the northern Gaza Strip. A hit was confirmed.

Terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip have fired over 15 rockets and mortars at Israel so far today, severely damaging the Erez Crossing.

Despite the recent attacks, the crossings into Gaza continued to operate, delivering over 150 truckloads of goods and food.

The Erez Crossing allows Palestinians who need medical treatment in Israel to pass through. On Sunday (August 21), over 60 patients and accompanying individuals crossed into Israel for medical treatment. About 30 international organization workers crossed into Gaza from Israel as well.
